After a breakout season with Italy and Juventus, Moise Kean is set to be a protagonist of the European U-21 Championships that are about to start. He spoke to Soccer Bible about his history and season: "Have I always wanted to be a striker? No, I wanted to play midfield. But my father always said 'you must wear the number 9.' My mom? She wanted it so I would always study first, but it wasn't easy to combine football and school. At the end my desire to choose football over everything prevailed. My mom is proud of my path and I wouldn't have been able to do it without my family."
"Juventus? When I arrived I understood that things would change. I am conscious of the fact that I wear a shirt that brings responsibilities, but it is not a weight. Ronaldo? I look to observe what he does in training and to learn from him. But I don't ask for advice. I am not the type."
"Idol? Definitely Drogba. I watched how he moved and when he scored. In Italy I would say Balotelli, especially at his time with Inter. My dream? To win the Champions League. But what they teach you at Juventus is to give your all in every challenge. My call up to Italy? I would have never expected the call. I was in Ferrara with the U-21 team, right after the game against England Luigi Di Biagio came to me and told me that they needed me with the first team."
