Arkadiusz Milik won't play until January, as he has been excluded from Napoli's Serie A list. During an interview at SportoweFakty, the Polish striker explains: "The club wanted to extend my contract for five more years, and they put me in this position: sign or leave. So I decided to try to looking for something new with my agent, there have been some talks with many clubs".
And then, Juventus and other clubs showed their interests: "I don't want to nominate the clubs, but it's necessary to have an agreement between the player and both clubs to close a deal: I reached it, the clubs didn't". After that, the medicals with Roma: "It's true, everything was going in the right way, as an official press release explained", explains the player.
"I'm 26, I think it's the right moment for me to try a new experience. I have always tried to leave in a professional way, I have never had hostility towards Napoli. I never ran out of respect, but Napoli didn't talk with the clubs where I wanted to go. I expected the decision (about the exclusion from the Serie A list) but I was told through media, the lack of communication with me hasn't been professional. I have always given my 100%, I'll suffer but I'll resist".
