There is a surprise team in the mix for Real Madrid defender Pepe. Turkish club Besiktas is reported to be tracking Pepe. The Portuguese international's contract with the European champions ends on June 30. Right now in Lisbon agent Jorge Mendes is having a meeting Ahmet Bulut while the player is in Russia for the Confederations Cup with Portugal.Pepe is looking for a two year contract worth 10 million Euros a year including a 2 million signing bonus. It seems as though the player wouldn't mind a move to Turkey.
Inter Milan has been tracking the situation with Pepe for a while now, the nerazzurri believed Pepe could fill a hole on the back line. The Italian giants though have not made contact in a while. Also pursuing the Portugese defender in 2017 has been PSG who had delegates meet with Pepe's entourage at the Champions League final in Cardiff. Besiktas are serious though and are on the verge of doing more than talking to get a deal done.
