Former Arsenal and Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna discussed his choice to join relegation candidate Benevento after a career in top teams: "I knew before signing that the team was having some difficulties - Sagna said to La Gazzetta dello Sport - I had seen goalkeeper Brignoli's goal against Milan and that got me curious about the club. When my agent said that there was the possibility to come here I met with the president Vigorito in person. He talks about his team like it was his child, you don't find people like that everyday in football nowadays. I have found a really special atmosphere here and I'm very happy to be in Benevento".
In the next Serie A fixture, De Zerbi's team will travel to San Siro to face Inter: "I remembery very well the first time I played there, it was a Champions League match against Milan. I was at Arsenal and we won 2-0, it's a special stadium. Inter are not the same they were when they won the Treble, but they are going back to high levels". The French defender drew also a comparison between his current coach De Zerbi and his ex-coach Guardiola: "De Zerbi is a bit like Guardiola, in the sense that he pays attention to every single detail, he wants us to play the ball and move like a team. We can still avoid relegation. A player that has surprised me? The young Brignola, he is really good at dribbling and he could become a great player if he keeps working hard".
