Kamil Glik is set to become Benevento's first signing after securing the promotion to Serie A next season. The Polish centre-back has arrived in Rome this morning to undergo his medical in Villa Stuart ahead of his move from Ligue 1 side Monaco.
After the tests, the 32-year-old will sign the contract with Benevento and officially return to Serie A, a league that he knows well having made 192 apperances with Torino, Bari and Palermo in the Italian league. "I am very happy to be here, I missed Italy", Glik told the reporters before starting his medical.
