Benevento complete deal for ex-Manchester City and Arsenal right-back Sagna

Benevento have officially announced the signing of the French international Bacary Sagna. After having taken medicals, the ex-Manchester City and Arsenal right-back signed a six-months contract with an automatic renewal for one more year, should the Italian team avoid relegation this season. Some other teams, like Schalke 04, Besiktas, Olympiacos, Malaga and Braga had shown interest in the French defender, but the player chose to join the Giallorossi and tomorrow will be at the stadium to watch his new teammates play against Napoli.
