Bayern Munich, Rummenigge: Juventus to pay 46 million for Douglas Costa

Karl Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Juventus will make Douglas Costa's loan deal permanent. Bayern Munich will receive "46 million euros" from the deal. Here is his statement to the board of directors this evening, "Douglas Costa joined Juventus last summer on a temporary basis until June 30, 2018, with a contract that brought in a deposit of 6 million euros within seven days of the agreement to loan and also gave a right to purchase (that is exercised by June 30, 2018) for the permanent acquisition of the player for an additional cost of 40 million euros that could be paid in two installments. When certain sporting objectives are met by the player during the duration of his contract, there will be an additional one million euro bonus due to Bayern."
