Now it's official: Hansi Flick will be the manager of Bayern Munich through the end of the season. The manager took over for Kovac a few months ago and has convinced the Bayern management with both results obtained with the team and the quality of play shown. Rumenigge commented on the announcement: "We are very satisfied with the Flick's work as manager with the Bayern Munich's first team. The sporting development is excellent, both in terms of our quality of play and results reached."
This is the club's official statement: "After yesterday's match between FC Bayern and VfL Wolfsburg, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić and the manager Hansi Flick met.
