While the 110 million release clause in his contract expired a few days ago, Inter striker Lautaro Martinez remains a target for Barcelona.
The Balugrana president Bartomeu revealed that the two clubs have been in conversations over a potential transfer of the Argentinian: "We held conversations with Inter a few weeks ago, but the negotiations are not ongoing at the moment. We are evaluating things", Bartomeu told TV3.
"The league and the Champions League are not finished, so we have to evaluate our priorities. We have also to make considerations on internal factors to face the crysis that the club si facing. Right now we can't think about making significant investments. We will have to see when people will be allowed to return to the stadium and to our museum. We will have to wait and see how this whole situation evolves. However, our club will be a main player of the transfer window".
