La Liga clubs are trying to complete the last deals before the closing of the summer transfer window on August, 31st. One of the protagonist of the last few hours of the transfer window is ex-Inter midfielder Rafinha, pursued by Real Betis.
The two clubs are still negotiating to find an agreement and the main critical point of the negotiations is the player's contract extension. Barca would have preferred an outright sale or a loan with forced option to buy, while Betis is willing to sign Rafinha only on loan with an option to buy, hence the necessity for a contract extension. Talks between parties are ongoing, but it looks like the club will finally reach an agreement in order to fullfill the player's wish to get more playing time.
