FC Barcelona have officially announced Lionel Messi's renewal with a statement on their website and social network accounts. Last season's Golden Shoe winner has signed a new deal with the Blaugrana until 2021, which includes a buy-out clause set at €700m. By the time this new deal expires, Messi will have spent 17 years with the Spanish team.
