Barcelona, Luis Enrique praises Juventus: “They have everything they need to win the Champions League”
It was a bitter ending to the second leg of this quarter final matchup for Barcelona, as they ended up failing to score any against Juventus. Nonetheless, Luis Enrique praised Juventus and their performance as he spoke to Premium Sport after the game:
“This is football. Our plan was to play a match like we did tonight, at a certain intensity, but we lacked in the final third. It was a great match between two strong teams, and in the end all we can do is compliment Juventus. When you keep fighting until the end, and the fans keep cheering you on, it’s a sign that you’re in a top club that always plays the role of the favorite. Juventus has a fantastic coach and lots of quality players, they have everything they need to win the Champions League. But as usual, they’re not the only ones who plan to do so”.
