Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba talked to Tuttosport about the upcoming Champions League clash between his team and Juventus. The bianconeri need the win to be certain of the qualification, while the blaugrana only need one but, according to Alba, they won’t settle for a draw: “We are Barcelona, we don’t settle for draws. We’ll go in Turin to get the win. I’d like to score one past Buffon, like in the Euro’s final, and swap shirts with him to add it to my collection. I already have Dybala’s one from last year’s match. Gigi is the best keeper in the history of football, and I was very sorry to see him crying. It’s a real shame that he and Italy won’t participate in the World Cup”.
From a legend to another, the Spaniard describes his teammate Leo Messi and his team’s play style after Neymar left : “Leo is a phenomenon on the pitch and a normal guy off the pitch. There will be no one like Messi, ever. I feel very lucky to play alongside him. Without Neymar we play differently, we don’t have a wide left winger anymore, so that side is all mine. I’m protagonist again”.
