While Barcelona has a lot at stake in the last two months of the season, they also need to start planning for next summer when they'll have to find a new coach and retain some top players. Sporting director Robert Fernandez talked about the club's future in an interview to Mundo Deportivo:"We'll have time to decide on the coach because we're competing on three fronts. It's certainly an important matter, but will be more important at end of the season. Messi has always expressed his desire to stay here, he's very happy here and so is his family. We're also serene in regards to Iniesta, he's an incredible professional and he's only focused on getting over his injury. The extension is important but there will be time to discuss"
Fernandez was also asked about some potential new additions:"Bellerin? He's a good player who is having a good season, but there are other players who can do well in that role. It's very hard to improve an already competitive squad. Verratti and Dybala? We're talking about players with long contracts with their clubs and that makes it hard to negotiate. Dybala?
