A goal, an assist and a painful exit from the pitch. Luis Suarez's night against Real Betis was bittersweet, as the Uruguayan attacker scored his 18th goal this season but was forced to leave the pitch at the end due to an injury to his ankle.
Barcelona released a statement regarding the injury after the player underwent exams this morning: "The tests have confirmed an ankle injury for Suarez, who will be out for the next 10 to 15 days. The player will not respond to his national team call-up."
The injury is not expected to keep Suarez out of Barca's April 10th Champions League quarterfinals match against Manchester United.
