Yesterday Rivaldo leaked the news and today Barcelona confirmed the sgning of Paulinho. The now former Guangzhou Evergrande player arrived for €40 million and his contract will feature a €120 million exit clause.

FC Barcelona and Guangzhou Evergrande have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Paulinho Bezerra for 40 million euros. The new Barça player will sign for the next four seasons.
The player’s buy clause is set at 120 million euros.
Paulinho will undergo a club medical on Thursday and the signing of the contract and the official presentation of the new FC Barcelona player will also take place on Thursday with the following timetable:

- At 12.45pm the signing of the contract at the President Suñol suite in a private event.
- At 1.15pm, official presentation at the South Goal end at Camp Nou.
- At 1.45pm, official photo session on the field at Camp Nou
- At 2.15pm, press conference in the Ricard Maxenchs press room at Camp Nou.
