Mario Balotelli is set to return to Serie A. The former Manchester City striker agreed to join his hometown club two days ago when he and his agent Mino Raiola gave their word to president Cellino, they vowed to work on the details to complete the deal.
However today there will be a new meeting with Flamengo, during which Balotelli’s representatives will communicate Mario’s intention of signing with Brescia. It’s expected to be a cordial meeting during which the Brazilian club will likely reiterate their desire to sign him right away even at the cost of more significant investments.
Raiola wants to keep a good relationship with Flamengo because it could be a destination for Balotelli in the future. But the present has been decided Balotelli will join Brescia, he’ll receive an annual wage of 3 million before taxes, with a bonus of 3 million should the team avoid relegation and a two year deal worth 12 million before taxes.
