Andrea Berta, sporting director of Atletico Madrid, has been in Italy over the weekend seeing a few matches in the country he hails from, in Turin as well as Genoa. First, he was at Atalanta-Juventus, after Sampdoria-Torino. He was there to look at several young players in action, specifically those on Atalanta, Sampdoria and Torino. There exists a possibility as well that Berta could be gearing up for a return to Italy, with several clubs there, including Roma or Inter, who could be making a play for him to accept their sporting directors role. In the case that Simeone joins Inter, given the relationship between the two, Berta could certainly accompany him.
