Atlético Madrid loses transfer ban appeal to the CAS

Atlético Madrid won't be allowed to make transfer operations this summer, whether in purchasing players (Diego Costa or Lacazette were strong leads) or selling players and this until January of 2018. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has given his decision and Atlético has published an official statement on their website which includes: "They partially upheld the appeal presented by Atlético de Madrid, reducing the financial penalty, but maintaining the prohibition of registering licenses this summer".
