It's not been the best season for Nikola Kalinic between his season in Serie A and the World Cup which ended earlier than expected for him. The Milan forward still has suitors though, especially in Spain. Sevilla have in fact already shown interest for the Croatian striker. In the past few hours, as was reported by Peppe Di Stefano on Sky Sport, Atlético Madrid have moved ahead of Sevilla in the race. Simeone's club will now negotiate with Milan.
They still have to find a team for Gameiro first though, as he hasn't reached an agreement with the clubs following him. Only after a sale of the French forward will Atlético try to close a deal for Kalinic.
