Atalanta are closing the year on a high note after qualifying out of their group in the Champions League. The bergamaschi will also receive a substantial reinforcement with the return of Duvan Zapata who hasn't played since October 12th. The Colombian striker received treatment in Spain but returned to Bergamo on Tuesday, he will undertake some medical exams on Thursday at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome.
Zapata is expected to return during the new year when Gasperini's team hosts Parma, so far this season he scored six goals in seven Serie A matches.
