Atalanta are really close to conclude a deal with Sampdoria for Zapata. The Colombian striker is so close to the Nerazzurri that the deal could already be done this Wednesday. Atalanta has made an offer based on a €14m two-year loan, plus a 12m buying option so that the total fee would be about €26m.
Jiangsu Suning were also interested in the player but he preferred to join the Italian side.
