Just one season in Marassi, Duvan Zapata is set to leave Sampdoria and begin a new chapter of his career at Atalanta. The two clubs have in fact reached a final agreement for a two-year-loan with a fee of 12 million (6 million for each year of the loan). However, the figures of the deal could go up to €24 million, should Atalanta decide to trigger the €12 million option to buy clause at the end of the loan, while Zapata will earn 1.5 million per year plus bonuses.
The Colombian striker has already left the blucerchiati's team retreat and will take medical with his new club in the next few hours. In the meanwhile, president Ferrero's club is already at work to replace him, as Sampdoria is ready to step up their interest for Roma's Gregoire Defrel.
