After reaching an agreement with Sevilla for Luis Muriel, Atalanta are looking for an additional piece to complete their roster of forwards. La Dea is pondering a move for Bologna's Rodrigo Palacio, who has already played under Gasperini at Genoa and has an excellent relationship with the coach. The 37-year-old striker was close to signing a new contract with Bologna, but now the interest from Atalanta and the possibility to play in the Champions League could turn the tables.
Speaking of Muriel, the former Fiorentina player will arrive in Bergamo in the coming days, as Atalanta has asked the Colombian FA to give him the greenlight to travel to Italy and undergo the medicals with his new club. Despite the injury Muriel suffered during the Copa America, Atalanta have decided to close the deal and he can already be considered as a new signing for Percassi's club.
On the outgoings front, young talent Kulusevski could leave the club, with Parma very interested in adding the Swedish midfielder to their ranks.
