Atalanta President Antonio Percassi spoke on the tragedies that Coronavirus has brought to the town of Bergamo with RTL 102.5.
"I am living everything very badly, this is a tragedy. Our most beautiful generation is dying, but also many young people. In our club we had 8 positive cases, something very sad. We are taking on a health bomb, a true and real global war. The pictures of the army trucks in front of the Bergamo cemetery will always stay in our hearts. I was in a hospital, all I could do is cry."
"When we returned to lead the club, ten years ago, the emotions grow every year. First the promotion to Serie A, then the nine seasons spent in the top league and Europa League, until the Champions League quarterfinals. The strongest emotion was the qualification against Valencia, the photos of the team that dedicated a historical win to the city of Bergamo."
