After officially naming Gasperini the new manager today, Atalanta is now on the hunt for a striker and appears to have a total agreement with Alberto Paloschi. The former Chievo Verona player, now at Swansea, has accepted Atalanta’s offer and between tomorrow and Thursday both clubs will attempt trimming the slight differences remaining. Jenkins, the club’s president, has accepted Atalanta’s latest offer of 6,3 million euros plus 1,250 million euros in bonuses tied to Paloschi’s performances. Everything is proceeding smoothly and the striker could be close to a homeland return.
