The only thing missing was the official announcement, which finally arrived this morning. Alberto Paloschi is returning to Serie A, the former Chievo striker is joining Atalanta. Swansea will receive €6 million plus €1.25 million in potential bonuses, while Paloschi signed a five year deal with an option for an additional season with annual salary of €1 million net of taxes. Swansea City striker Alberto Paloschi has agreed to join Serie A club Atalanta for an undisclosed fee, with the transfer set to be completed on July 1.
The Italian forward signed for the Swans in January from Chievo Verona and scored two goals in ten league appearances for the club.
Paloschi opened his account with a well-taken finish against Tottenham Hotspur in February before scoring the equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Stoke in April.
