Atalanta keep working on Middlesbrough's De Roon while Baumgartlinger from Bayer Leverkusen is an alternative

Atalanta is still looking for a midfielder with the return of Marten de Roon in the board's mind. They are still working on that option while the idea of Julian Baumgartlinger, 29 year-old midfield from Bayer Leverkusen could be the alternative. Sartori has been to the German side's friendly against Celta Vigo last Saturday to scout the Austrian player but he didn't play. The sporting director has contacted Rudy Voeller though to ask the German club if they would be willing to sell him.
