Atalanta-Gasperini reach agreement on extension: the latest

Atalanta and Giampiero Gasperini will continue their journey together. The former Genoa manager has reached an agreement on a three year contract extension with the bergamaschi: the new deal will expire in 2020, the official announcement is expected soon. Gasperini had been linked to some top clubs in Italy after leading Atalanta to verge of qualifying to the Europa League, but he'll stay in Bergamo for the foreseeable future.
