Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta squad is enjoying a magic moment and currently sits fourth in the standings after a 2-1 comeback victory over SPAL. Gasperini spoke to Sky Sport after the match.
"We're often able to make things difficult on ourselves with worrisome starts to matches. This type of approach will make us struggle to come back against difficult teams to beat. We've had too slow of starts to matches, we had trouble today against a team that played well and created a lot. In the second half we began to run more and opened more space."
"The league is very good, but there are 15 days left and it's too soon to speak about Champions League. There's time to climb and fall in the rankings. It's not easy to keep this rhythm of points and victories. Even those behind us are giving their best and every match is complicated. We'll have more clarity within 6-7 matches."
