Lucas Torreira, ex-Sampdoria midfielder could be out for an extended period, with a fracture to his right ankle being confirmed by his club. Arsenal announced on their official site the news of the injury: "Torreira suffered a fractured right ankle during the match Monday against Portsmouth. Additional specific testing is being undertaken which will determine the recovery prognosis."
Gunners' coach Mikel Arteta commented on the situation with the club: "I spoke with him, he is in pain. We don't know the exact extent of the injury. On Friday he'll see specialists in London. Injuries however are a part of the sport and they happen not just to our club but to everybody, we have to try to adapt, we can't sit here and feel bad about ourselves."
