Argentinian star Lionel Messi talked about the possible coexistence on the pitch with Paulo Dybala, after that the Juventus player revealed that "It's difficult to play with Leo because we both play in the same position. I try to leave him his space but it's not easy. I have to adapt". When asked about the matter, Messi agreed with Dybala: "I spoke with Paulo and I immediately understood what he meant when he said those things. He told the truth: with Juventus he plays in the same role as me, and in general we play in the same position. We tried to play together but we realised that we tend to occupy the same area. So, when he played with me he had to change position and drift to the left side, he is not used to play there. Playing on the left side is difficult for both of us, when we play on the right we have much more space in front of us. I totally get what he meant and I never took it as an attack to me, the opposite actually. There was no need for an explanation, we only talked about it because it came out".
Messi discussed also about the upcoming World Cup: "We have reached three finals in the last few years but we haven't won any of them. This World Cup would be the last one for some of this generation, it's our last chance to win it. I don't think we are the favourite, there are better candidates than us, like Spain and Brazil. But also Germany and France are above us. We have to be strong as a team".
