Ansaldi-Inter, deal already done. There is an interesting back-story behind the mercato axis composed by Inter-Genoa-Zenit which regardless, currently does not seem will complicate Ansaldi’s move and presumably never will. There is friction between the Russians and the Italians over the last rate needed to pay for Ansaldi’s option to buy clause, due to pressures from Zenit who are not new to these types of problems: e.g. the year that Ansaldi moved to Atletico. Nothing bad however, everything proceeded smoothly. Everything will also proceed smoothly this time around with Ansaldi moving to Inter unless there are some unexpected and scandalous turnabouts. Ansaldi will return to Italy on Sunday to then begin his new experience with Inter starting from Monday. The documents are all well and good, the deal is practically closed.
