A divorce that "was good for all involved" is how Carlo Ancelotti described his departure from Napoli. The now Everton manager was asked about his former team in an interview with Radio Anch'Io Sport:"It was the right choice both for the club and myself, I'm doing better and so are Napoli. I'm glad they have turned things around and doing well, for the rest it doesn't make sense to look back. Here at Everton I'm doing well but I didn't need to be regenerated. I was enjoying being at Napoli, but the results weren't up to the standards of the squad"
Ancelotti went on:"Napoli was a good experience from the work perspective, but now it's a closed experience. Napoli is an extraordinary city that is worth experiencing, I plan to go back on vacation"
