Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the press ahead of the quarterfinal matchup with Arsenal in the Europa League. Here is what he had to say about the challange: "The team must know exactly what it has to do in attack and defense. Is there a poor environment at the moment? My environment is that which concerns my staff, the club and the team and I can tell you that there isn't a poor atmosphere, there is only the awareness that we have not done very well in the last two games. Only 9 days ago we showed our true worth against Roma. I am not worried, I am certain that tomorrow will go well if we focus on our strategy."
The coach went onto discuss his possible lineup: "Insigne and Mertens as starters? This is an option as is Milik-Mertens or Milik-Insigne or all three could play, without forgetting the possibility of Ounas and Younes. Get better in defense? Definitely yes, but it doesn't mean that we will have a defensive strategy for the game, we must do well in all phases. I am convinced that if we defend well we attack even better. Arsenal of Wenger and Emery? Two different teams and two different managers, but the team always remains competitve. We are honored to face them, we have great respect for them. Emery has a lot more experience than me in the Europa League, he is a top manager, it will not be easy for us."
Before the press conference, Ancelotti spoke to Sky Sport and defended his team's season: "Here there is a club and players who are happy with what we've done. Napoli's objective is to get 80-90 points in a season, if Juventus reaches 100 we can only pay them compliments. Who ever judges a team by comparing them to Juventus is from another planet."
