Carlo Ancelotti may have hit his 1000th match as a coach, but there will likely be many more in the future. He spoke to Radio Anch’io Sport about how his Bayern Munich plan to look ahead:
“I’m very happy in Munich: This team receives lots of love from the people. High profile ex-players who have a deep knowledge on the industry run the club. I’d like to begin a new era here at Bayern, but I know it’s difficult as coaches are dependent on results, and sometimes you can’t control them”.
The focus shifts on European competition: “Compared to the past, the competition is balanced as there are no clear favorites to win. At the start you had Barcelona, but after their last performance they’re almost eliminated. There’s still room for surprise in the second round of legs. Juventus this year is much more competitive than in the past, having found solidity and experience.”
