After beating Napoli 3-1 in the Italian Cup, it’s already time for Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri to focus on the league, specifically on their game with Udinese on Sunday. Here is what the Juve coach had to say in his press conference:
“Tomorrow I’ll try to field the best possible team. We’re coming from 4/5 days of recovery, but we know we’ll be facing an intense period. In terms of numbers, we’ve done well. But like every season, the month of March is key”.
“Higuain? I don’t know if he’ll play them all. What matters is that the team is doing well. Marchisio? He’s doing well but I still have to decide. Napoli and the post-game drama? It makes me smile that as coaches we often talk after a match about all the things that went against us, but never those that went in our favour. My future? This team doesn’t need me and the Juventus universe doesn’t care what I’ll do, the only thing people care for is victories. I have a contract until 2018 and I’m happy here. What I do isn’t interesting for anyone, and that’s exactly how it should be. Lets focus on the Italian Cup, Serie A, and Champions League”.
