Juventus currently sits in first place of the Serie A, four points clear of Roma right before their big match. Max Allegri spoke to TuttoSport about their current situation and upcoming targets:
“We have to remain focused on our objectives. We only have two games left, then the Supercup in Doha. From January onwards the grind until June begins. After a decent first year, my second year here was incredible. I remember we started horribly, but then something happened that could never be repeated. We will remember it for a long time. The club has always worked well in the market session: Players and coaches come and go, what matters is having a strong club behind you”.
On the Champions League: “So far I’ve heard a lot of different comments on how the match with Porto is easy for us. The truth is that they’re used to playing Champions League matches. Aside from their technical ability they have a strong club. For both reasons, it will be a difficult encounter. Roma? I’ll decide who plays based on how I believe the match will go. What matters is that whoever sits on the bench is ready to help their team mates on the pitch, otherwise it’s a lack of respect”.
