Allegri gave an interview to Sky Calcio Show after Juventus defeated Sampdoria 1-0: "We played a great first half. In the second half we could have been more organized as we sometimes did not successfully mark our opponents. I became frustrated because moments like those require more experience. Dybala? He had the same problem with his flexor a few days ago. It does not seem serious; we will evaluate his condition when he returns. Barcelona? The match is far away, and I believe everyone will return. Did I celebrate during the draw? No, I would have preferred another team, but when you arrive at the quarterfinals, playing against a team like Barcelona is the norm. In the past few years, we have grown in Europe, and everyone respects us. The quarterfinal is the most difficult step, and winning means having a great chance at playing in the final. Pjaca? Sometimes he does too much on offense, and sometimes too much on defense like today: he must find more balance. He will grow physically, and has a good motor. He comes from a league where he was rarely put in difficulty and with little effort was better than everyone; here that is not enough. He must improve in front of goal, because he has great technique. Anger towards the end? I became angry, because although fair-play is good, some situations require ruthlessness. Otherwise, it's like we are playing playstation: with Dani Alves on the ground, we gave the ball to Sampdoria instead of kicking it out."
