Max Allegri wants his Juventus team to get 2019 off on the right foot with a Tim Cup victory over Bologna. Allegri spoke to the press before tomorrow's match.

"We need to be serious and approach the game in the best of ways. It will be a match that can help us prepare for the Super Coppa match against Milan. We've done well up to today, but we still haven't done anything. Now we need to continue gathering fruit from here until June"

"Mandzukic won't play, Kean may play. There will be a few changes anyway. De Sciglio will play on the right, Spinazzola will play with Alex Sandro on the left. Bonucci will play, we'll see about Pjanic. Szczesny will be in goal looking ahead to Wednesday because then, if all goes well, Perin will play in Coppa Italia."

Allegri then responded to a question about racism in the stadiums: "This isn't anything new, many have spoken about it just to fill their mouths. There are instruments in the stadiums to identify who isn't respecting the rules. If I'm not mistaken, the person who threw a banana at Aubameyang can't go into stadiums anymore. In Italy we have a problem: there's fear to make decisions.

He then spoke on questions regarding accusations against Cristiano Ronaldo: "It's a personal question, I speak about football. I can tell you that he's very serene and training well. I see a serene and tranquil Cristiano."

Allegri closed by speaking on the transfer market: "I have 5 midfielders that are great and I don't need anyone. I'm fine how things are. Ramsey? I always watch English games."
