They are currently waiting for the last bank guarantees before they can proceed and officially close the transfer. Here are his words as reported by Dutch publication ad.nl: "For the transfer of De Ligt to Juventus we are in the closing stages: we are dealing with having the last bank guarantees before confirming the transfer. We are very serious about this. I hope it's a situation that resolves itself quickly, but I am confident it will be this way."
