With Ajax he's already showed he's ready for the International level, there were many offers by several European top clubs as his contract was about to expire, but he chose to come here".
At the moment, somebody who comes in Saxony doesn't stay for a long time, as top clubs' requests keeps being more attractive. Upamecano after 4 years will Leipzig will make a next step with Bayern Munich, which paid the 42.5 million clause for the defender that will substitute Alaba. And Leizpig have already found the replacement: Mohamed Simakan, 20 years old central defender from Strasbourg. Despite the knee injury in January, Leipzig have just announced the deal with the central defender: a 5-years contract and 15 million to the French club, a fee that AC Milan wasn't willing to spend in the last transfer-market session. By July the player will have recovered from the injury, ready to make the next step in the European football from the main door for every young footballer.
