AC Milan board are working in order to sign a new centre-back to complete Stefano Pioli's defensive package. Two main names are at the moment on the shortlist: Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah and Schalke 04's Malick Thiaw.
Regarding Chalobah, the Rossoneri are hoping that Chelsea will seal a deal soon for Wesley Fofana's arrival (for around €80-85) from Leicester so the Englishman could be open to move.
Also, Thiaw is considered by the board as a good option: he could leave Schalke on a permanent transfer.
More: AC Milan are set to earn €4-5m thanks to a percentage on Paqueta's move from Lyon to West Ham. This money would be re-invested in this market window: to be understood if the Rossoneri will spend this amount on Bordeaux midfielder Onana.
