This has been a very impressive season for Francesco Acerbi who is now set to start his eighty first match in a row for Sassuolo. The defender has played every minute in this match streak, and his performances have been noticed by numerous clubs- in fact today could be Acerbi's last match at the Mapei Stadium.
Last January Leicester made an offer to sign him, and now Schalke 04 has joined the race for the defender. In Italy we have seen Inter pursue him a few months ago, more recently there's been concrete interest from Fiorentina. But before the transfer window opens, Acerbi wants to continue his streak of consecutive game season played.
