‘Bayern is extremely strong. We have everything it takes to win both Champions League and Bundesliga. Vidal? Fantastic player that never gives up…He often talks to me about Juventus and how similar they are to Bayern: Both clubs work relentlessly for victory. I don’t know if we’ll square off in the Champions League, but we fear nobody. I know that last year the two clubs had a great battle. Ancelotti? He’s a great person. He has great communication with players, often listening to what they have to say. Then he also teaches football seeing as he was also a great player that won everything.’
Final comment on Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘I’m the only Portuguese to have won the ‘Golden Boy’ award? It’s probably because Ronaldo was already too old. I can’t even compare myself to him, all I have to do is keep working’.
