Milan continues to wait for a break through in the negotiation for Lucas Ocampos. The Argentine winger is currently on loan at Genoa, who is negotiating with Marseille to see if they can send the player to Milan to finish the season. The French club is concerned that Ocampos will do so well at Milan that he could be sold in the summer for a higher figure than his forced option to buy, whose value is based on the number of goals he scores. For this reason, Marseille would like to change the terms of the loan should Ocampos join Milan: they are currently talking to Genoa's sporting director Zarbano to raise the forced option to buy to €10-12 million and have it tied to number of games played as opposed to goals scored. The contacts are ongoing, in addition Ocampos would have to join Milan from Genoa rather than go back to Marseille first because of the rules for non EU players
