Inter, Ausilio: ‘We trust in de Boer’

Today was a very important day for the finances of Inter, but that didn’t stop Piero Ausilio on speaking his mind on the team:

‘We messed up two, maybe three matches in total. Improvement occurs through failure. Our job is to understand the underlying factors behind every result, we try to look beyond the score. Inter gets on average at least 10-15 attempts on goal every game. Change of coach? We haven’t contacted anyone else. Many are offering themselves for the job, there’s a difference. This summer what happened with Mancini was unpredictable, but we have a clear plan. In August the decision to bring in Frank de Boer was made by everyone. We support Frank and his football ideology. Capello in a managerial role? Definitely not as a coach, for anything else it’s not up to me to decide. The Suning ownership is distant? The clubs managers and directors are on the training grounds every single day, this doesn't happen elsewhere. Gabigol? He’s still young, has great talent and is currently working hard every day. His time has to come at the right moment. He’s a humble lad with a strong desire to learn’.
