Chelsea have identified Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel as a possible target on the transfer market. Muriel has a release trigger set at €28m, and other than Conte's club, he is drawing interest from Napoli too. Sampdoria's president recently commented that he wouldn't sell the Colombian, but it's believed that Sampdoria would even consider a €25m offer for him. The striker's contract is up in June 2019, and whether a deal goes through could be tied to a possible contract extension -- if Sampdoria, who are willing to sell for the right sum, do keep Muriel, he will almost certainly request an extension and a raise after the season. For Napoli, the club has a number of forwards on their wish list. Pavoletti is one who is wanted by Napoli, and remains a potential option. Zaza is another forward who Napoli could consider moving on as they plan their transfer market. And if Sampdoria does lose Muriel, they could look to Inter striker Stevan Jovetic as a replacement option.
