Aleksander Ceferin, President of UEFA, spoke on the possibility of playing football again, even giving a precise date.
"Necessarily, Champions and Europa League will need to end by August 3. We are living in an extraordinary situation and we must be flexible: the European cuts can be played on the same dates of the national competitions, also at the same time. We have different plans for starting activities again in May, June or July. But if the authorities don't allow us then we won't do it. Health will always come first."
"It will depend on every country's government. The format won't be a problem, we can play with the actual system or with new formulas, with dry matches in a neutral field or drawing for who plays at home. 'Final eight' or 'Final four" are possibilities, possibly behind closed doors with television present."
