After a season as a protagonist at Sporting Gijon, Tonny Sanabria has considerable appeal on the transfer market. Roma owns the rights to the striker born in 1996, while Tottenham is strongly interested in bringing him to the Premier League. But at the moment there is considerable distance between the clubs, Spurs are offering €9 million while Roma is asking for around €12 million.
Roma had previously received a larger offer from Rubin Kazan who was willing to spend up to €15 million. But the offer was turned down as Sanabria wasn't interested in playing in Russia at this stage of his career. The next contender is Tottenham, so far their first offer was submitted to Roma.
